‘Look Before You Pump’ Campaign Goes National

We were so excited to hear recently that Lowe’s, Walmart and True Value had decided to pick up the Look Before You Pump Campaign – concepted by OPEI (The Outdoor Power Equipment Institute) with Four Leaf  PR and designed by Watermark.

The quick message? When you pull up to a gasoline filling station, you may start to see some changes (a new kind of  fuel is being offered in some states). The gas you put in your car may no longer be safe for small engines, UTVs and outdoor power equipment. Think lawn mower, chainsaw, things you use every day! And most of America is not aware, so an awareness campaign was needed.
A BOLD campaign that you wouldn’t ignore was designed for POS, advertising, tradeshows and more (as this doesnt just affect the general public, but greatly affects the landscaping community, as well as power sports). Materials and assets were made available not only to retailers but all major members like Stihl, Ariens, John Deere and so many others that are and will be affected by this.

Here is a sampling of some of the graphics, including a custom gas pump designed by Watermark and built by Gropen!:
